Fred Casillas, President and Founder
Mr. Casillas founded Adjuvant with the idea of providing experience, integrity, and innovation to his customers in the federal government. He leads a senior staff rich in experience and knowledge of our customers and workforce management. He has been leading and challenging the workforce to strive to use their technical experience, high integrity, and infuse innovation in their everyday service to their customers.
In 2005, Mr. Casillas capitalized on his knowledge of the federal government, leadership experience, and philosophy on customer service to found Adjuvant. Under his leadership, Adjuvant has continued to grow. In 2011 Adjuvant was named one of the fastest growing companies in San Antonio, TX.
T. Nick Meyer, Vice President of Operations
T. Nick Meyer has over 17 years of experience in the federal government sector relating to training and information technology. Mr. Meyer’s education and diverse experience supporting the federal government has shaped him to become passionate about supporting today’s warfighter. His passion has fueled him to lead the organization to excel in delivering services that not only support, but enhance the customers’ missions.
Mr. Meyer has leveraged his experience working for large integrators such as BAE Systems to drive the Adjuvant Consulting’s organization toward growth and development. In his role as Vice President of Operations, Mr. Meyer oversees programs, proposals, contracts, financials and business development. Under his leadership, Adjuvant has experienced growth that has exceeded the goals and objectives of the company and unparalleled employee satisfaction.
Mr. Meyer holds a Master’s in Industrial and Organizational Psychology from St. Mary’s University in San Antonio, TX and Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky.
Steven Lewis, Chief Solutions Architect
Steven Lewis has over 20 years of experience in information technology. Mr. Lewis’s education and diverse experience supporting the federal government has groomed his passion about supporting today’s warfighter. His previous military experience gives him great expertise for supporting and enhancing the client’s mission.
Mr. Lewis has extensive experience working for a large number of clients. In his role as Chief Solutions Architect, Mr. Lewis oversees technical implementation of projects, proposals for business development and training company personnel. Under his leadership, Adjuvant will implement a set of technical standards to help the company to continue to grow.
Mr. Lewis holds a Master’s in Management Information Systems from American Continental University in Houston, TX and Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Information Systems from St. Leo University in Tampa, FL. He also is an Amazon Web Services Certified Solutions Architect and Agile Scrum Master.
Pierre Gutierrez, Director of Cybersecurity
Pierre Gutierrez is an experienced leader in cybersecurity, digital forensics, audit services, high performance computing and engineering support. Mr. Gutierrez has over 39 years of experience in research & development and the information technology field. He developed a diverse background working across multiple industries in multidisciplinary engineering research, development and testing for the government and private sectors.
Throughout his career, Mr. Gutierrez has worked in the field of information systems security, data acquisition control systems, and engineering design. He has designed and programmed test articles for the FAA/NASA, Department of Defense, American Petroleum Institute and the Automotive Industry. Mr. Gutierrez is an experienced and certified ANX eBusiness systems integrator for the automotive industry; designing, implementing and managing networks since 1994.
Mr. Gutierrez has over 25 years of experience writing information systems security plans, conducting cybersecurity assessments to the requirements of ISO/IEC, HIPAA, NIST, SOX, SOC2, NERC-CIP, COBIT, FFIEC and GLBA compliance standards and digital forensic expertise. He has worked as the cybersecurity architect of joint ventures between large US organizations and their US/Foreign partners working in England, Japan, and China. He has conducted cyber incident investigations for federal agencies and the private sector for criminal and civil cases, successfully determining the root cause of incidents and analysis of multi-vector attacks.
Mr. Gutierrez is on the NISD Northside Education Foundation Board of Directors, serves on the San Antonio Cybersecurity Industry Council and is an active member of ISACA and SAE.
