Desktop Support Administrator / Financial Systems Administrator
Adjuvant is looking for applicants to provide basic computer systems administration and financial systems application administration for several ACC bases.
Essential Functions:
Provide computer operations support, LAN component and PC installation, network configuration and troubleshooting
Provide Desktop Support
Support includes the administration and maintenance of workstations, monitors, printers, scanners, and various other standard peripherals
Perform installations, configurations, and maintenance of workstations in accordance with AFNETOPS and local Communications Unit guidance. Configurations will generally include the installation of the Standard Desktop Configuration (SDC) or the Federal Desktop Computer Configuration (FDCC)
Perform the application of patch updates, and configuration changes as well as compliance reporting of the updates/changes as prescribed by the Air Force Communication guidance/governance
Serve as the Comptroller Unit’s Information Technology Equipment Custodian (ITEC) Manager. Work will include maintaining inventory control over all accountable ITEC items, reporting and maintaining inventory
Serve as focal point for identifying and reporting all network issues or outages to the respective network helpdesk for resolution and monitoring the ticket for outcome.
Provide one-on-one Microsoft Office and Microsoft Windows operating system training as questions arise
Provide specific hardware and software acquisition recommendations to management based on analysis of Comptroller IT needs, requirements, and existing resources. This work includes keeping management apprised of the current state of Unit IT equipment and associated tech refresh requirements
Maintain an inventory of printer consumables (cartridges, fusers, etc.), retaining all Unit print devices in working order to include toner replacement as necessary. Verify current warranty and initiate technical support service calls. Identifying printer hardware and printer consumable items required for purchase to the Unit resource advisor for Government purchase
Serve as the Comptroller Unit’s Air Force Portal content administrator. This consists of posting images and update text based content
Serves as the technical point of contact for application installation/maintenance of multiple financial applications. This does NOT include performing as the functional point of contact for the application
Work includes the installation, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting of the following financial applications on the client stations:
Automated Business Services System (ABSS)
Automated Funds Management (AFM)
Centralized Disbursing Software (CDS)
Commanders Resource Integrated System (CRIS)
Defense Enterprise Accounting and Management System (DEAMS)
Defense Joint Military Payroll System (DJMS)
Defense MilPay Office (DMO)
Defense Travel System (DTS)
Enterprise Output Manager (EOM)
Financial Management Suite (FM Suite)
Integrated Accounts Payable System (IAPS)
Job Order Cost Accounting System (JOCAS)

Review and update an extensive continuity book for the financial management systems on a quarterly basis to be shared with other employees supporting similar organizations at various ACC bases
Provide telephonic support to other ACC bases on the financial management systems as needed
Unpack, inspect, and test incoming computer hardware to ensure that all parts have been received and are in satisfactory condition
Manage the operability of Comptroller Squadron telecommunications to include blackberries, conference room projection equipment and VTC systems, and any Government issued cellular telephones and PDA devices
Requirements:
Strong written and verbal communication skills utilized in supporting non-technical and technical customers, varying levels of management, and peers on other teams
Strong Desktop Technical Skills
CompTIA A+, OR CompTIA Network + CE, OR CompTia Security+, or SSCP
A minimum of one year experience in client experience and application installation, maintenance, and upgrades
Active Secret Security clearance or Inactive Security Clearance falling with two year window from debrief from last usage of clearance or an active Interim Clearance
Strong Preferences:
Prior experience supporting the US Air Force or US Military bringing knowledge of military protocols
Knowledge of Air Force Information Technology (IT) equipment accountability program (ITEC), wireless devices, and all applicable peripherals
Knowledge of Air Force and Department of Defense (DoD) financial systems and their application environment
Physical Conditions:
During moves, employees will be required to lift up to 40lbs to move equipment. Equipment movement will also use dollies and carts to move computers and peripherals but candidate must be able to lift up to 35 pounds from floor to desktop height.
While troubleshooting issues or installing equipment, employees may have to crawl in small spaces or under desks
